Warplock (Atari 2600 - a2600)
One evening, futuristic, while cruising in your space ship surrounded by the distant outer space, you will find that you are trapped in the space / time. While stuck in the unlikely event space pirates appear as if from nowhere, trying to destroy you and your team. Fortunately, your ship is armed with a launcher tachyon, a weapon that can fire deadly particles faster than light. These particles are called energy emissions tachyons rods.
With control paddle in your hands, your job is to shoot the space pirates in the sky. Your ship is maneuvered horizontally on the bottom quarter of the screen, and you can hold the fire button to shoot continuously, or you can take one of the energy of the rod at the same time.
Space pirates ships can maneuver in any direction around the screen (including under your ship), but you can only shoot vertically. Enemy ships come alone or in groups of two or three. If you press any of the three ships in the group, the whole wave excluded. On each ship you get caught, you get one point. When you reach 16 points, the pirates begin to fall photon bombs. When you earn 99 points, your score starts again from scratch.
