This Atari 2600 version of Star Trek game on a college mainframe many.

As these computer programs, it has no graphics, only text. You use the joystick, moving left or right to select the command you want, and then press the red button. Commands and parameters are as follows:

Galaxy Map = 6x6 grid that starts empty, until you perform long range scanning. After this quadrant will show the 2-digit number. The left figure is the number of foreigners in the area. The right digit is either 1 or zero, depending on whether there is or is not a star base in this area. Galaxy card does not require energy or stardates.

LR = long scan scanning range. This will tell you what's in your quadrant and the bull's-eye near you. If you have any enemies in the box when you make HR scan, they will attack you. Scanning LR does not require energy or stardates but it does turn.

Cp = short scan scanning range. It shows you the stars, aliens and POSs in your quadrant. You owe it to destroy the aliens and dock with Starbases. How to scan the Republic of Lithuania, if there are aliens in their sector, they will attack after using the scan Wed. Also, as scanning LR, SR sweep does not require energy or stardates but it does rotate.

= Warp warp is how you move, either from quadrant to quadrant or from sector to sector. You go to the setting 2 setting. The first is your direction. You choose the direction, based on the figures.

Then you choose how many quadrants and sectors to move. If you want to move to the quadrant, set the left lane to zero, so that you are not jarred out of this quadrant. Warp uses stardates, energy and rotation. If you have jars in the quadrant, there is only you and the stars on the screen is green. If you have jars in the quadrant with aliens or aliens and space bases, the screen will be red. If you have jars in the quadrant with the starbase, the screen will be dimmed. Status - a status report. This will tell you how much stardates, aliens, power plants and photon torpedoes on the left and if you have a loss and that.
