Slot Racers - 1978 is a video game console cartridge for the Atari 2600 video game. It was developed by Robinett Uorren, who also went on to develop one of the most successful games for the Atari 2600 Adventure.
Racing game controlled by a joystick action game, a total of nine versions of the game, set in the cartridge.
The object of the game is to fly your car through the maze, trying to open fire on the opponent's car and dodging rockets fire contender in his car. Every time one of the respective car struck a missile, the player controlling the other car gets one point. The victory is achieved by scoring twenty-five points. The game itself has four different mazes, and parameters relating to the velocity of the rocket, and other factors, in the context of its nine options selected using the game select switch. Switches complexity of each car is capable of firing rate control.
